Former Illinois Governor, now convict, Rod Blagojevich says that he believes his biggest mistake was becoming Governor. Instead, he says, he should have been an investment banker because he would have gotten away with anything and everything, and made a lot more money in the process.
"Listen, no matter what you think, I'm not stupid. The most I am guilty of is bad judgement, and in this case, my bad judgement was in becoming Governor. If I'd been an investment banker, no doubt I would have gotten away with anything even my scheming and devious mind could have conjured up. Just look at all of those Wall Street guys who raped and pillaged the American taxpayers. I assure you that no matter what I was alleged to have tried to pocket for selling Obama's Senate seat, I could have made far more on Wall Street. Those guys ended up costing the American taxpayers far more than even my two trials combined did, and there isn't one of them that isn't still walking around free on easy street," said Blagojevich.
